CONSERVATIVE GROUP BLASTS MGM MIRAGE - HO DECISION.

CITES HO ROLE IN MONEY LAUNDERING FOR NORTH KOREA

NEVADA - The Reverend Gary Kellner, Chairman of Family Focus, a Coalition made up of Evangelical and Pentecostal ministers across America, today blasted the Nevada Gaming Control Board for its approval of joint venture between MGM Mirage and Pansy Ho, eldest daughter of Hong Kong billionaire an organized crime associate, Stanley Ho.

"The Nevada Gaming Control Board has just approved a US regulated gaming company paying $200 million to a man identified in two separate Department of Justice reports as a "associate" of organized crime", said Kellner. "It is now clear that the Nevada regulators work for the industry they are supposed to be regulating".

"Pansy Ho is the director and shareholder of a company that owns a bank which is currently under investigation for money laundering and counterfeiting US currency to finance the North Korean regime's nuclear weapons program", said Kellner. "Nevada regulators have failed to connect the dots - Pansy Ho is herself unsuitable".

"Nevada regulators failed to investigate Pansy Ho's illegal activities while running Shun Tak Shipping Ltd, failed to investigate her links through STDM to the Triad working in Ho's VIP rooms and failed to investigate stock manipulation in STDM to benefit Pansy Ho, said Kellner. "Is this the Nevada Gaming Control Board or the three blind mice?"

Kellner also blasted the Control Board's giving short-shrift to Winnie Ho Yuen Ki, sister of Stanley Ho and shareholder in both Shun Tak Holdings and STDM and internal documents Ms. Ho supplied the Gaming Control Board at their hearing last Friday.

"Winnie Ho Yuen Ki is a respected businesswomen and philanthropist", said Reverend Kellner, a veteran anti-communist activist. "Nevada investigators never contacted her and never seriously examined her submitted testimony and documents".

Kellner also charged that the Nevada Gaming Control Board never investigated the fact that Pansy Ho dated and lived with the son of another Triad "associate" Albert Yeung, also identified by the US Justice Department."

"Under Chairman Dennis Neilander this decision has made a mockery of casino regulation in Nevada", said Kellner. "We pray New Jersey's Casino regulators will conduct a broader and open-minded investigation."
